We have to take some responsibility as well. Too many people (including me) are living beyond their means. The CC companies are aiding and abetting this lifesyle. I learned my lesson the hard way that you have to learn to say "no" to the cc companies and "no" to spending what you don't have.

Hope we can git ya back to Texas! Dallas will be great for you. There is a huge (if overly pretentious) singles scene there. Can't wait to see how things work out for you.

    What do you play?

I'm new to your blog and am too lazy to read all the past posts.

Remember the old saying...where there's smoke, there's fire. Jackson's been there, done that with the charges and he persists with his habit of "sleeping" with children. The man needs to wake up. How ever innocent he claims his intentions, society has deem this behavior inappropriate. As someone who has reaped tremendous rewards from this society, it is the height of idiocy for him to think he's immune from criticism or the norm of society.

This isn't the last we'll hear of Jacko and the kids. My questions is who are these incompetent parents who so want a brush with "fame" that they'll give up their kids to get their 15 minutes. Shame on them!

Nah...it took the jury too long. Split decision, no jail time. Perhaps a strong slap on the wrist. Now he can join O.J. and Robert Blake for some golf...

It's a shame that such a supremely talented person is so screwed up.

There is certainly a problem in that household. The parents are sending you e-mail...? That's kind of odd. Maybe I'm old and out of touch, but I can't imagine getting that involved in my son's life, especially when he's trying to pull something like that.

    Run and run quickly!

What a sad display. I am having trouble feeling sorry for someone so talented and so misguided. Have any of you out there ever earned $400,000,000 and wasted all of it? Let's save our pity and sympathy for those who really deserve it...the Pistons!

I'll go against the grain here and say that Carter should pipe down and let the administration runt he war on terror the way it sees fit.

As for "human rights" most of these idiots are living better than they were in Afganistan (or whereever). If all that "happens" to them is that we "humiliate" them by mishandling their holy book, they are lucky. What about the human rights of all those who suffered under the Taliban and Saddam? What about the human rights of the 9/11 victims?

They are not U.S. citizen and should not be afforded the rights and priviledges of one. They were trying to kill U.S. soldiers for goodness sake!

Yes, if they are innocent, let 'em go. Those who aren't should be treated decently (I believe that 3 hots and a cot suffice)and be held forever, lest they be let loose to kill more innocents.
